'Mi � pervenuta la diLei gradita cartolina del 27 Febbraio. Bench� non m'abbia dato alcuna nuova della dilei salute, spero tuttavia sar� sempre migliore del passato,... Di mio fratello Giuseppe non ho recenti notizie, le ultime datano dal 31 Gennaio, alla qual epoca mi comunicava che la sua partenza era questione di qualche settimana.

Carlo Caprotti, brother of the Italian merchant Giuseppe Caprotti (1862-1919), resident in Ṣanʿāʾ, informs Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) that he has not received any news from his brother for several weeks.
Furthermore, he requests Glaser to remind Hans Riggauer (1849-1907), director of the Royal Coin Collection in Munich, of the payment of 600 marks in connection with the acquisition of a gold coin...
